coils do get hot/warm with the key on,wiring is ok (54 views) 
Message: voltage check will differ when points are open vs. closed.The neg side of coil is positive until the points make contact then the ground is made.



runs terrible check or replace points condenser rotor ,coil jump 1/4 inch gap strong spark.
