Message: I have used very fine sandpaper with disasterous results....
You need to remove the wood and use stripper. The key to the passenger side dash wood is to remove the radio, reach in and unscrew the two plastic nuts on the back left side of the wood and then pull out and slide the piece to the left. No secret to the other pieces.
