This fuel surcharge thing is really starting to (52 views) (74 thread views) 
Message: I just bought an airfare for $314.55. Add $36.36 tax, fees and surcharges, another $5.45 surcharge for using my Diners card and then they lump a $43.64 fuel surcharge on top of that. Not satisfied with all that, the government charges 10% GST on the total so I am up for $440.00 in all.

It was only a few months back I was paying $325 for this same flight.
