Pretty easy to remove the bushings (m) (67 views) 
Message: Pop the rubber cap off the end and unscrew the pin with an allen, think they are 7 mm. Take a small screwdriver and pry the outer edge of the rubber bushing down while pushing the bushing into the hole it is mounted in. Spray a bit of silicon spray or WD-40 in where you have the screwdriver will help you push it out easier.
