if there's only one driver, they need only one key, right? The other keys, and manuals, are somewhere in a forgotten drawer. The PO has no vested interest in passing along the stuff, much less even looking for it.

If the dealer asked for the stuff, the PO probably gave a deer-in-the-headlights stare.
