| Message: | | My wife leases a Jeep Grand Cherokee, she loves them and gets employee discount working in the Motor City. The second we got home, I put the spare key in a clay container that my parents brought home from Africa for me. That is where I keep all my spare keys as it sits in my closet shelf and I always know where any of the keys are. For my 325i that I am selling after 3 yrs, I have 3 of the 4 keys, the emergency wallet key was lost by the previous owner. I rotate the regular keys every 6 months so that they keep a charge as well. I am sure edjack is right though, 95% of the people out there just don't care, and are not detailed like most of us here.
