It's likely the blower resistor pack (127 views) 
Message: It's a common failure - my HVAC blower went crazy (on/off/hi/low) on it's own. It is a 45 min DIY. Blower resistor is located in passenger side footwell. Search on boards for step by step which is what I did. Good luck!
