just to clarify ; BLUETOOTH vs no BMW Assist func (862 views) 
Message: right now - when BLUETOOTH is installed - the BMW Assist system is disconnected . Without BMW Assist , the customer may not have
IMPORTANT RESCUE/ASSIST SERVICE IN THE CASE OF A SERIOUS ACCIDENT, DEPLOYING THE AIRBAG, ETC.

A SERIOUS choice is made .

By using the BMW CPT 9000 phone system , the BMW Assist is retained and functional.

This is not an issue for X3's with out BMW Assist.

installation instructions for X3 Universal Bluetooth Hands-Free Kit Upgrade is EBA-Nr.: 01.29.0.306.859

part number for the Retrofit kit is 84.64.0.306.855

your car must also have SA 473 front center armrest for either Bluetooth or CPT9000 phones
