Aluminum drive shaft (archive)

Anyone know where I can get an Aluminum drive shaft for a 97 2.8L Z3. This would reduce Vehicle weight a little and reduce acceleration loss to inertia in the drive shaft mass. If it isn’t available maybe one could be fabricated.
