it was a long time ago and I was under the impression the tree was sitting in the seat, that he could have ducked any which way and been crushed to death, and if he had a seat restraint like ours he may have been held upright...

in any case the point we all agree on is from now on, I will be wearing my seatbelt for sure!!!!
