Which begs the question: will the new E46 M3 wheel fit in a Z3? The airbag is the same as the one you need for Tim's wheel. The E46 guys are upgrading their 2001 steering wheels.

Highly technical terminology here. I have the 3-spoke M wheel (which is fitted standard in all UK cars) which has thumb bits which I really like. The 'sport' wheel with the matt chrome trim doesn't have the thumb bits.
