2.8 and the like (archive)

The cars are safe and I would say ( no offense intened) that a better lane change would have avoided this. The cars have an awful lot of power for a car this size and when all that power is goin to the rear wheels oversteer is a must. That is why BMW made it with a 1.9 becuase that is the best setup in their engineers thought. However a change was needed when Americans got a hold of it an dthere wasn't enough power, see americans are bred on this " how fast is it 0-60" mentality. So they made a car that will do better 0-60 but sacrifices handling. But me Im supercharing a 1.9 it will be faster than a 2.8 but will still keep most if not all the 1.9 handling characteristics. I really don't need the extra power and I realized this by test driving all engine types. I am supercharging the car to make it the best Z it can B
